God's Word For Today

As a follower of Christ, you know how important it is not just to engage with God's word on Sundays at church, but to engage with God's word as a regular part of your daily routine. At Vicki Troup Ministries, we believe the same, and it's important to us to provide you with God's Word every day. Touching base with God through reading the prophetic word is just one of many ways to get connected with God in your daily life. Let's take a look at some ways to grow in your relationship with Christ on a day to day basis.

• Build a community of fellow Christians. Whether you check in on each other through social media or through text, being a part of a Christ-centered community like our Forum, is a great way to deepen your faith.

• Reach out to us if you're working to make God a larger part of your life. Let us know that you'd appreciate our prayers in welcoming God into your life, and read God's words of wisdom on how to make Him a part of your day to day thoughts.

• Set aside time each day for prayer. Your prayers don't have to be long - a few minutes spent connecting with God each day is a great way to build a habit of taking time out to put Christ first. If you have a family member who is also working to grow in their relationship with Christ, praying together can be a great way to keep each other accountable.

• Devote time to reading God's Word. Whether you have the time to do a full hour of Bible study each day or you're working to spend a few minutes studying the Prophetic Word, getting in the habit of connecting with God through His way of speaking to us - the Bible - can deepen your connection and help you to apply Biblical principles to your daily life.

 

As a follower of Christ, you know how important it is to make connecting with God a priority in your life, but it's easy for the other things on our to do list to get in the way. It's ok if it takes you some time to get in the habit of connecting with God daily, but over time, you'll find that the deeper your relationship goes, the more satisfied and at ease you will feel in your day to day life.
