Did you know that Jesus "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us?" This means that Jesus the Messiah freed Mankind from the power of another (the devil). His blood purchased us (Mankind, that's all of us! Whether you believe that there ever was a Messiah or not). Don't forget when Mankind ate the fruit (many say apple, but the Bible says that it was a fruit) from the tree; he was sent out of Eden. You see, Mankind (this includes man and woman) had the "Glory" around him as an aural, making him like God. So he was already like God. Man was a little god. When he ate from the tree Man began to become ashamed; he started to realize right thinking and right doing from wrong thinking and wrong doing. Instead of listening to God and His directions because they were God's Children. As a matter of fact, just like your children listen to you because you're their parent(s). Man also started to work for his living and the woman started to have painful child births known as labor pains. (Did you know that before then, Eve did not have pains during labor. Also, she had children before Cain and Abel. How else or should I say, why else would Cain be afraid of people harming him when he was sent from Eden.) Ok, back to the issue at hand...When Mankind was liberated from the curse of the law, we were also redeemed from the curse of poverty, lack and debt. We were given THE BLESSING.
Deuteronomy 28 gives us the Blessings of Abraham and the Curse. You see, Debt is part of the curse. Verses 43 & 44 says, "The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thous halt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail." If you are in debt, this verse describes you. Do you feel low and like you can't do anything about your debt? Do you think that debt is a part of living? My parents thought so.
My Parent's Idea Of Debt
My parents were continuously in debt until they passed. When I was younger and asked my mom and dad why they had bills, (I was like ten maybe twelve years old). The answer I got from my parents was, "Girl, you're going to have debt as long as you live. If you want a house or car and have children, you're going to have debt". WRONG THINKING, WRONG LIVING! Are you thinking wrongly???
Are You A Slave To Your Debt?
Do you want to be a slave? A slave to your debt?? That is you have to have a J-O-B. I look at a J-O-B as meaning "Just Over Broke", because you have to get up and go to work whether you feel like it or not, you have to be there at the time they tell you to, you have to follow their rules and regulations, you can only take time off when they tell you to? or maybe you just get two weeks a year?
